What Does Carcinoma Ascending Colon Suggest?
My wife took 6 chemo cycles. The Hospital recommended follow up with following test cbc,lft,s.creat,cea,cect abdomen. After how long these tests should be carried out if the patient is otherwise normal. Age 72, Weight 64, Diagnosed: Carcinoma Ascending Colon-T4N1M0- Duke's C: Hypertension.

I really appreciate your concern, if the patient is on chemotherapy then it is the routine procedure to get done the routine test and it is all depends upon the clinical condition of patient for to decide when to get done the test, there no particular time period for the test, but it is being done periodically hope this information helps.
