Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

The pain under the ribcage can be related to a muscle spasm in the area. Hot compress, local analgesic gel and regular exercise with oral muscle relaxants can help.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Praveen Tayal,
Orthopedic Surgeon
