Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have pain in my hands consistently. When I was diagnosed with Hepetitis C I was told this was consistent with Hep C. I have been cured of the Hep C and still have the pain. It gets worse when exposed to cold and sometime I break out in a rash on the palms, it itches and then peels. It was called cryo.....something.
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
I think you are referring to Raynaud’s phenomenon. If your fingers turn white or blue in the cold, that’s a sign you have this condition. It happens when blood vessels spasm in the cold, and blood flow slows. You may feel pain, numbness, and tingling.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka
