What Does Constant Pain In The Hips, Knees And Ankles Indicate?

Dr can t figure out why I constantly have pain in back very bottom of hip knees ankles. Xray shows slight osteoarthritis in lower back.my calve and shin muscles always ache.I took gababentin one dose and ankle pain across top of foot disappeared.could that be a sign to the problem?
