Hi,I am Dr. Subhankar Chakraborty (Gastroenterologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hello, I;m a male white 74 years of age on a wheat free diet for 9 weeks. Exercising 3X a week at a gym had leg cramps at night started taking potassium by eating Arugala and Fennel. My stool turned dark brown and firm from light brown and slightly loose (2 or 3 x a day). What's up?
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern, the stool color is due to the diet taken and it may not be due to any disease in absence of any disease or symptoms it is nothing to worry, leg cramp could be due to claudication it could be muscular pain, and it is nothing to take with the stool color, but it over all it is nothing to worry, I think you are doing well and stop worrying, hope this information helps.
