What Does Dark Vaginal Spotting Indicate?

my mensus was due on sep25th, but oct 3rd onwards started dark bleeding by drops. on 6th oct carried out sonography, but nothing in uterus, on 8th oct bleeding was over, blood test confirmed i am pregnand.... but they r doubting it is miscarriag..., is it true...?

Hi,

Yes. I think that this can be a case of miscarriage so I would suggest you to do hCG tests and repeat it after two weeks to see if there is rising titre. Also, an ultrasound examination of lower abdomen will be required to determine fetal cardiac activity. In the meantime, I would suggest you to take tablet aspirin 75 mg and tablet Micronized Progesterone 200 for 3 weeks.
