Hi,

Your having degenerative discs with disc compression lead to radiculopathy. Yes physical therapy and with calcium and pain killer supplementation may useful to elevation of symptoms.

If symptoms not improved need surgical decompression of nerve root. Please consult your neurosurgeon he will examine and treat you accordingly.
