What Does Enlarged Abdomen Indicate?

i am 15 my abdoman looks like im in my third trymester. i know im not. it has been like this for about a year. anything you have to say will help. my doctor said its just gass. but i dont think so. i think im just fat, but everyone elce says there is something wrong... its makeing me scared.

Hello dear, Do not me frightened. I have seen clients like this in the very same situation.

First of all, the doctor will want to do a pregnancy test to objectively confirm you are not pregnant. Next, a scan of your abdomen can reveal if it is a cyst or not. If such a condition exists, it should be removed.

Also check for polycystic ovaries as this can cause bloating of the lower abdomen.
