What Does Epithelial And Pus Cells In Urine Indicate?
well, my urine analysis shows that I have about from 3-4HPF pus cells and epithelia cells ++++, the aspect is turbid and the no of red blood cells is from 1-2 HPF, I want to know what does this number and range of epithelial cells and pus cells indicate and whether I should make another test if its dangerous or not?
The 3-4 pus cells in urine are not a cause for concern. It can be seen normally as well.
The increased epithelial cells could be from outer genital flora if urine not collected after cleaning the genital.
So I suggest you clean your outer genital with soap and water and then collect urine. It's advisable to investigate with fresh early morning sample.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
