What Does Faint Trace Of Blood In Urine Indicate During Fever?
Hello! My father is 73 yrs old. Recently he had fever. Doctor diagnosed it to be viral fever and also suggested Urine R/E. His urine report says:
Reaction: Acidic, Albumin: Faint trace, Blood: Faint trace,
Pus cell: 3-4/hpf, Epithelial cell: 1-2/hpf, R.B.C: 1-3/hpf, micro organisms: A few
Other things are negative/absend.
Could you please let me know what does this suggest?

HI
Its normal during fever to have little amount of blood in urine . His urine report is normal . But a viral fever can reduce platelet counts so I advise you get a Platelet count test done .
