What Does Frequent Pain In Testicles Like Being Kicked Mean?

i am a 20 year old male and for a little over a year ago i started having random testicle pains like i have been kicked there. the pains have gotten worse and more frequent as time has gone bye.. what could it be? i know cancer may be possibility but im hoping its something else that can be fixed.. and could i still be fertile if i am having these problems?
