What Does Grey Particles And Changing Characteristics Of Stool Indicate?

I have recently been diagnosed with collagenous colits after having a colonoscopy, but have been having problems for over a year. I saw on line about Giardiasis after typing in how my stool has changed. I noticed particals in the stool that are gray in color and looked like a cyst (about a quarter inch around and oblong). They outside was like a grape skin and inside was nothing but wet. Could it possibly be Giardiases or another form of parisite instead of Colitis?
