What Does Hematuria With Normal Blood And Urine Test Result Indicate?

I have gross Hematuria without pain and have history of kidney stones. Though, I also, have Lyme and Babesia (both known to cause Hematuria). I m doing all the steps, MD (family physicain and Urologist), blood/urine tests and ultrasound. My labs were normal. I m worried/anxious, but had something comparable years ago ... any thoughts? YYYY@YYYY Thank you, Annie

Geriatrics Specialist 's  Response
Hi Annie,
Thanks for asking.
Based on your query, my opinion is as follows.
1. Hematuria is usually due to infection, or stones or tumors.
2. If there is not significant findings in any of the tests done, renal biopsy maybe necessary.
3. Do repeat the reports once again, looking at renal function tests. Get back with reports and more clinical details for further opinion.
Hope it helps.
Any further queries, happy to help again.
