What Does High Level Of Strep Mean?

My 10 year old daughter has guttate psprasis casued from a strep infection, they said the blood work for strep was over 600, what does this mean. she also has reduced kidney function, 60%, from the infection, and now is bruising easily. Is this normal

Well, it means she was infected and it might be the first time she is infected.

Strep can cause very high amounts of inflammation when the antibody level is high (the titer yo mentioned) and if the germ is also present. With antibiotics taken for a full 10 days, generally, it doesn't mean much!

But without antibiotic treatment there is a lot of germs there is a lot of antibody against the germs and the two can clog up a lot: kidney damage, bright red skin, irritation of vessels and the heart.
