General & Family Physician, Dr. P. Mahesh's Response
Hi Krishna,
Welcome to HCM.
There is no English medical term as funsi. Fungi is a medical term meaning pleural of fungus.
In Hindi funsi refers to a boil. Solitary boil if small will subside on its own. If multiple boils are there then oral antibiotic treatment with local application of antiseptic cream may be necessary.
Usually boils are highly infectious and spread rapidly if burst. Avoid bursting of boil without proper antiseptic precautions.
Wish you all the best.
