Urinary tract infection is most common in women ,sometimes it may be asymptomatic,since your other test are negative for infection,
your doctor has asked for a urine culture test in order to know the microorganisms in the urine. since many bacterias can cause Urinary tract infection ,your doctor want to which bacteria is causing infection.
I don't know exact cost of the test, it varies ,but it is not that costly.
