hello
the burning sensation is due to gastroesophageal reflux ,what we in common language say as acidity
what i would suggest is that
1.start drinking lots of water
2.if the burning sensation is unbearable than u can take (a)pan d tablet twice daily for 5 days (b)aciloc tablet twice daily for 5 days
hope that will solve the problem

The condition you are talking about is known as HEARTBURN/ GASTROESOPHAGEAL REFLUX DISEASE. It has nothing to do with burning of heart. this is just for name sake. Actual disease is about reflex of gastric juices (Mostly HCL), into the esophagus (Food Pipe) because of either common vomitting or sometimes because of defective mechanism of VALVES, which guide the one way passage of food from food pipe into the stomach.
As gasrtic juices are acidic, having pH close to 2 or 3, which if comes into direct contact with soft mucosa of food pipe, then it can cause injury to that mucosa, which is felt like sometimes as burning sensation in the chest close to heart.
that's why it is known as heart burn. THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING FROM STOMACH THAT CAN HAVE A PASSAGE TO HEART WHICH CAN BURN IT.

that's acid reflux! if you lay down it gets worse so prop up your pillow at night. you need to get priolsec or something like that from your doctor. also, stay away from beer, hot and spicy foods and anything that can aggravate your stomach if you don't it can burn the outside of your esophagus but that takes a while for that to happen but you still want to get attention for sooner than later.
