What Does It Mean To Have Chest Pain And Tightness And Shortness Of Breath?
I was in ER thursday night with moderate chest pain, severe tightness in chest,pounding heart and shortness of breath...cardiologist cleared me as not having a heart attack...he said it could be caused by a herniated thoracic disc but that was was his specialty...released after 3 blood tests...2 EKG's...heart sonogram (echo) and heart monitoring all came back good...he was confident my symptoms were not caused by my heart...I do have herniations of T5/6,T6/7 and T11/12...symptoms are still continuing...does it sound as though it could be due to thoracic herniations? I am otherwise a healthy 37 yr.old male...(other herniations in cervical spine and rutured disc in lumbar).
