Hello and thank you for asking HCM.

Before explaining your urine test,i need to explain at you a few things about the urine, this way you will be able to understand everything.

Our urine is sterile ,which means there are no bacteria in it normally,or other types of microorganisms and it doesn't have any mucus threads.
When the epithelium is disrupted by the bacteria it’s shed off, causing the occurrence of mucus threads in urine. So in other words, you just have an urinal tract infection UTI that can be treated easily,so don't worry.

If you were my patient i would start you on antibiotics, ciprofloxacine would do the job,get rid of the infection.

Also i would suggest drinking a lot of fluids, especially chamomile tea,or Horsetail and Dandelion Tea as natural antiseptics that are great on cleaning your bladder and all your UTI from bacteria, and also help this tract to heal.

So you need to check with your family doctor to have the recipe with an antibiotic and get better.

If you have any other question, feel free to contact me.

Wishing you good health.
