What Does Long Thin Fatty Substance In Stool Indicate?

For the past month, I have had what looks like fatty meat in my stool. It usually is a long thin streak that almost looks like the fat portion of a steak, but maybe a tad darker. I had a bad fever around the time it started happening, and even though the fever is gone, the fat still shows up sometimes. I have been looking around on the internet to find some kind of answer and I keep coming up with blood in the stool . I do not have any pain, heavy gas, and it is easy for me to pass my stool. Also, it seems that if you have blood in your stool, it would really be obvious. But I am not sure what this is and now I am kinda worried.

Hello,

Fatty substance what you described is probably mucous. It may seen in amoebic or bacillary dysentery or amoebic dysentery or irritable bowel syndrome or food intolerence etc.

Blood may be due to infection or irritation.

Get it done stool examination and microscopy. Use tablet ofloxacine and ornidazole twice a day for five. Avoid spicy food and alcohol. Avoid gluten and lactose contain food.

If symptoms not improved please consult your physician he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
