What Does Low TSH Level,hair Loss And Dry Skin Mean?

I had a TSH level test ran last night, it came back 3.58. At the hospital I had it done it, the normal range is .50 to 6.00. The dr said most places use .50 to 4.00 as normal. I have been losing alot of hair when i shower, i am fatigued all the time, forget things, have drier skin than i use to, have gained about 18 lbs in 1 1/2 months and have not changed my diet. what does thos mean

Hi dear user
I have gone through your question.
I can understand your concern.

You have hypothyroidism symptoms and this do not explain why your level of TSH is within the normal range.

My advice is to repeat the thyroid tests (TSH,free T3 and freeT4) in another lab and than to see an endocrinologist because very probably you have hypothyroidism and you need hormone replacement therapy to control your symptoms.
