What Does Low Grade Fever Along With Fatigue And Body Ache Indicate?

I’ve had a low grade fever (average 99.5) every afternoon for a few months. I can tell I have a fever because I am tired and feel a little achy. I saw my doctor who told me I probably had a virus. All blood tests were normal. Should I just take some Tylenol and forget it. I am a 70 yr old female with no medical conditions except a mild case of bronchiectasis. Beth

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
It just looks like a viral infection. The fever 99,5 is still in normal range and can't even be considered low grade fever.
I think you can take paracetamol or advil and keep yourself under observation.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
