What Does My CT Scan Report Indicate After Sinus Pain?

this is my ct pns findings. There is mild degree of polypoidal mucosal thickening seen involving bilateral maxillary sinuses. As well as helar cell is seen causing obliteration of the maxillary antral infundibuli. there is thickening of both inferior nasal turbinates noted. what should i do. i have continue intense sinus pain and headache.

Hi thanks for contacting HCM...

Noted here according to finding you have Chronic sinusitis...

You have to consult Ent specialist for proper examination....
Because of sinusitis you can have reffered headache....

Take suitable antibiotic like amoxyclav...
For blocked nose and to relieve inflammation azelestine or fluticasone containing nasal spray can be used...
For sinus drainage take steam inhalation...
Hot pad can be applied....
For headache analgesic can be taken...
Peppermint oil help in ventilating sinus and relieving headache....

Yoga and muscle relaxation exercise helpful for headache.....

If no benefit on long term then you might need surgical management like function endoscopic sinus surgery like treatment...
