What Does My Abdomen And Pelvic Ultrasound Show?

i used to drink alcohol weekly twice before five years and now very occasionally and,my age is 52 years, due to a impact with stomach and the steering wheel while driving made to a test -abdomen & pelvic ultra-sound ,following is the report,
Liver is normal in size and shows increased echogenicity.no focal lesions.Intrahepatic biliary radicals are normal.Intra hepatic veins are normal.
IMPRESSION:- DIFFUSE GRADE2,FATTY LEVER.
Kindly suggest next step to care.

Hi,
Thanks for writing in.

The liver shows slightly increased fat content. This is a stable condition and does not necessarily mean you have any serious disease. This is not related to your impact of steering wheel while driving. You may get liver function tests done to know if medications are required to be taken. You alcohol intake pattern is not causing any problem.
