General & Family Physician 's  Response
hello and welcome.
hbsag if +ve greater than six months indicates chronic hepatitis b

alt 98 is elevated and common in viral hepatitis

HBeAg indicates great infectivity as its -ve and anti hbe anti body +ve, so thats very good news.

resolution of infection is by loss of surface ag and development of surface antibody

the fact that u have e ab and core ab(though igm) indicates that u are in the window period of 2 to 6 weeks ie period between loss of surface ag and development of surface antibody.

hbv dna 0000 also indicates towards a positive outcome. plz let me know about ur hbsag and hbsab status to guide you further.

thanx. hv a nice day
