What Does My Early Pregnancy Scan Suggest?

Hi, yesterday we took OB - Early pregnancy scan. Please find the report below. Single intrauterine gestation (POG 6W4D) showing a sac growth of 5W4D. Faint outline of yolk sac seen. Fetal pole or cardia acitivity not seen on scan today. Please let me know, is it normal?

Thanks for using healthcaremagic.I understand your concern.
Brief answer:Seems to be normal, repeat scan is needed to confirm.
Detailed answer:The scan report suggests, the presence of single intrauterine pregnancy as both gestational sac and yolk sac outline are seen.
I would like to know, whether trans abdominal or trans vaginal ultrasound was used for early pregnancy scan ?--as by trans vaginal ultrasound fetal pole can be seen around 6 weeks of gestation. However you need a follow up scan to detect the cardiac activity or fetal pole.Hope I have answered your query. If any further questions, happy to answer you.Take care.
