I am Suman 33 yrs. old, 5'1" height. I have one 5 yrs. old girl and we planned for 2nd baby and now I am 1 Month 20 days pregnant.
I am suffering from hypothyroidism after Ist pregnancy. I am taking 100 mcg Eltroxin 6 days/week as suggested by Endocrinologist.
I went for checkup and gynaecologist is suggesting 75 mcg OD in pregnancy. My thyroid report says serum T3 - 2.13 n mol/l; serum T4 - 13.1 microgram/dl; and serum TSH was 0.03 micro IU/ml. Kindly suggest me on this.
You are having hypothyroidism and for that taking eltroxin between dose 75 or 100 ug....
Your t4 is borderline elevated and Tsh very low that is below 0.5 suggesting toward possibility of secondary hyperthyroid by over dose of eltroxin... So you need to decrease dose....
Dose adjustment of levothyroxin always needed according to Serum TSH report
Hope this will help
Advise : Endocrinologist consultation for further examination and discussion...
Take care
