What Does My Urine Test Indicate?

My urine test showed Pus Cells of 200. But I have no symptoms of a urinary infection. Is that possible. My doctor has prescribed Cefixime 200 twice a day for 3 days. And has sent my urine to be cultured. A week earlier my urine test showed only 12 pus cells. Is it possible for the count to jump to 200 so soon? How severe is the infection?

I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern. You have 200 pus cells in urine. It suggest severe urinary tract infection. It is possible without symptoms. You should go for culture and sensitivity test. Then you should take treatment accordingly. Till reports of culture test available you should take cefixime according to advise.
