What Does Opacification With A Fluid Level In Sphenoid Mean?

Hi I have had a CT scan and the result is partial opacificationwith with a fluid level in the left sphenoid. I don t understand what this means. The reson for the scan was a bad fall I had 2 months ago landing on my head Would appreciate your explanation Thanking you Julie

Partial opacification and fluid level in sphenoid sinus indicates collection.It may be due to blood collection,infection etc.Collection of blood is most likely due to history of fall.
Functional endoscopy should be done.You may require endoscopic drainage.
However,you may need conservative treatment after evaluation.
This is a very dangerous to intervene and minimum intervention should be done.
I suggest you to consult ENT specialist.
