What Does Overdose Of Biaxin To Toddler Cause?

hi, my baby was diagnosed with ear infection, they gave him biaxin since he is allergic to penecillin, he is 8 months old, he weighs 19 pounds, i gave him overdose by accident !!!!! he should be taking 2.7 ml. i gave him 6 ml, coz i thought she told me so !!! what should i do!:(

Hi,

You should mention which preparation you are giving to your child. If you are using 125 mg/5 ml preparation, you should give 2.5 ml 2 times a day. if you are using 250 mg/5 ml preparation, you should give 1.3 ml 2 times a day.
