What Does Pain And Tenderness On The Right Side Of The Abdomen Indicate?

9 days ago I went to the ER with stomach pains and tenderness on my lower right side, dry heaves and diarrhea. An abdominal cat scan was done and my organs showed nothing was wrong. In 2009 I had the right side of my colon removed due to polyps and dysplasia never any problem, a hernia repaired by my bellybutton and of course my appendix was removed. Today I am feeling better, less diarrhea, basically no nausea but I have a slight fever of 100.4. Eating basically chicken noodle soup, toast and baked chicken with instant mashed potatoes. In the morning my stool is basically formed but after the soup I have minor diarrhea.some formed loosely. I was given 40 mg omeprazole capsule and generic zofran. What can this be?

hi hope to guide you in a better way
you gave a good history.
if your c.t abdomen is normal,then it might be an infection that is not picked up in scan.
so have an antibiotic cover must.
for this take tab ciprofloxacin 500 mg b.d for 5 days and tabl flsgyl 400 mg thrice daily for 3 days
.for pain releif take tabl nospa 1 tabl thrice daily.
take good care of yourself.
