Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

If the pain is worse on movement or when you breath or touch, then very likely it is related to a muscle in the chest wall and using Ibuprofen might help.

If the pain is not affected by movement, touch or breathing and especially if you have other symptoms, like cough or shortness of breath, you will need to see your doctor, so he can examine your lungs and make sure all is well.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
