General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

It should be examined by a general surgeon. Imaging or ultrasound examination might be needed. If the swelling is hard, then excision and histopathology examination will be required.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nishad BN
