What Does Pain In The Chest And Shoulders Indicate?

I m 57, have hypertension and drink maybe 2+ mixed drinks every evening for maybe 12 years since my divorce, smoked since I was 14. I have been checked a few years ago with labs, EKG, ECG, Stress test, Lung CT scan, Artery ultra scan and all reported good. In the past week I have a dull pain that moves around a little in my right upper chest and have extra pain in my left back/shoulder/neck and back when coughing. I have been diagnosed with COPD which is expect since I smoke. I plan to address these issues with my next doctor visit. Should I be concerned about possible lung cancer or heart issues?

Hello,

Heart issues may be there as there is a history of hypertension. You should undergo chest X-ray anterior-posterior and lateral view and ECG.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
