What Does Pain In The Hip Joints And Legs Indicate?

I have pain in my hip joint after getting up from cross legged position & have to walk limping before it gets tolerable .I also get pain in whole leg after standing for long time . Ii am a diabetic with allopathic medicine s. My age is 69. Kindly suggest medicine. Tarun Barai

Hello,
You need to talk to your doctor about what medications to take. It sounds like you may have osteoarthritis and if that is the case then the first recommended medicine to take is tylenol. Glucosamine helps some patients but it may increase your sugars so you really need guidance from your doctor. If you do not want to add medicines, acupuncture, physical therapy or yoga may also help.
