What Does Pain In The Hips And Lower Legs Indicate?

My hip bone is uncomfortable. When I touch it , it feels like a bruise. I thought I slept on a bad mattress. It felt better then I was moving some things- not extremely heavy and it flared up. I have been limiting my activities and the feeling is not getting better. Last night I Had some lower back pain and some weird feelings in my lower leg at times.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

So far as symptoms narrated here, there is possible issue with lower lumbar or sacral region with nerve compression giving radiating pain to legs.

In our clinic, after thorough physical evaluation, I recommend my patient for further care with X-ray or MRI examination.

I would like to assist further at anytime.

Regards.
