I am having shoulder pain more on the left side, This is felt more and uncomfortable when i lie on the bed. Took x ray, shows spondyl and and also loss of cartileleges with gap between bones on left side more. there is also slight osteoporosis as seen from Dexa. Took one vial of intra venous injection for osteo ( zolodomine acid drips ) and taing one tab monthly on empty stomach ( IDROFOS-150 ) for the past 4 months. I have put on weight for abt 5 kg. Also taken physio for ten days ( laser and UST ) Feeling better but having pain on shoulders and descends downwards when i lie on bed. Feeling better only on application of gel as SOS ) Presently taking GEMCAL PLUS one per day and one RE NERVE ) Pl advise

Pain in the shoulder may be due cervical spondylosis with radiculopathy , which lead to nerve root compression and pain. Use arm rest while sleeping. use neck support and lower lumbar support. Use pragab or Gabapentin tablet under your doctor guidance. Do regular exercise and physiotherapy and exercise. If symptoms not improved please consult your treating doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.
