What Does Pain In The Middle Finger Indicate?

Hello my name is lachrista and my middle finger has been hurting. I used super glue to put on fake nails and wen I took it off I kinda pulled my nail away from underneath but also I was cutting potatoes after that and cut it right on the side of my nail on the same finger now wen my hands get cold it hurts really bad almost in tears and it turns white and purple and aches Wat can I do please let me know

Hi,Lachrista,
Thanks for the query I understand your concern.
First of all give complete rest to the finger... do not work with it. Keep it dry &apply some antibiotic ointment lightly.. Take NSAID like Ibuprofen 400 mg twice or three times a day after food......till you see a doctor.
You need proper cleaning &dressing of the finger .
Oral/injectable antibiotic with anti inflammatory drug.followed by oral medication &dressings till it heals completely.
vitamin B. complex,vitamin C would help healing.
Please consult a surgeon for specific advise.
You would be alright in few weeks.
