Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My 10 yr old has been complaining of a sore right testicle and groin muscle area since last Saturday. He was running to first he said and hit side of bag. I noticed him walking back gingerly favoring that area. Was thinking maybe strained groin muscle but never heard of that for kids. Continued on not showing much. It was getting some better and I was giving him a daily dose of motrin and epsum salt baths but today he says both testicles hurt and that groin area. His cheeks get rosey and he says it makes him sweat. Any ideas? Thanks

What Does Pain In The Testicles Indicate?
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice. Sudden testicular pain need detailed evaluation especially in children. It could be a sign of torsion testes. Consult a general surgeon and get an ultrasound scan done immediately. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
