What Does Pain In The Upper Abdomen Indicate?

Hello I had some questions on stomach pain in the upper abdominal area I have had this pain for a week or so with no relief it worries me because I had surgery on my stomach after a car accident the seatbelts pressure ruptured something not sure what surgery I had . just wondering what cause pain in upper abdominal

There are a number of causes that can cause pain. Most common includes muscular spasm, cholelithiasis & acid peptic disease. If you can share some details then i can guide you further. Does pain occur all the time or at specific time? does pain occur after taking fatty meal? is there any burning sensation feeling as well?
