Hello,

Left chest pain can be caused from the heart attack, muscle pain, heartburn, or anxiety. You see a doctor if the symptoms are new or severe, happens along with shortness of breath, lasts more than a few minutes, gets worse when you walk, climb stairs, or do other types of physical activity, scares or worries you.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
