Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
For the last few weeks, i have had a pain in my left heel. It feels as if I have a bruise in my heel. It hurts the most when my leg is inactive. After I get up and moving, putting weight on it, it gets better. It hurts the most when I get out of bed in the morning. I hobble to the bathroom, but after a few minutes, I can stand on it again. Sometimes, I feel tingly sensations in both buttocks; I do not know if these are related, but it seems coincidential. Should I contact my PCP ?
hello, it seems to me like calcaneal spur-bony outgrowth from the heel bone. Icing the area is an effective way to get immediate pain relief.you can contact your doctor and get your x-ray done for confirmation.
