What Does Pain On The Right Side Of The Abdomen Indicate?
Hi my name s Betty. I had m gall bladder removed 6 weeks ago today. I am having pain in my right side of my stomach but kinda under my rib. Do you know what that might be? Im not sure where appendix pain would be. Also would the dr have been able to see my appendix when he removed my glall blader?
"As"per your clinical history is concerned please do a clinical examination and an [endoscopic biliary manometry] to rule out [post cholecystectomy syndrome]which happens after removal of gallbladder and it is not a serious issue at all.
Secondly regarding appendicitis you will get symptoms like this -
1)Sudden pain that begins on the right side of the lower abdomen
2)Sudden pain that begins around your navel and often shifts to your lower right abdomen
3)Pain that worsens if you cough, walk or make other jarring movements
It is not possible to see your appendix in laparoscopic surgery to remove gallbladder.
Try to avoid fried foods, high-fat foods, foods with strong odors and gas-causing foods and take low fat diet. So consult with your dietitian to make a plan for it.
Hope that helps
