My crus helix is very painful and my helix has a strange sensation to it. I worry because I had brain surgery and radiation done for trigeminal neuralgia and then had to go back in for more surgery which showed a staff infection in my skull from original surgery and my mastoid air cells were infected - I have a fluid like sensation in my had that comes and goes. My TN is still not fixed but worry that my infection is not gone. Blood work and CT are showing no signs, but my white blood count was not high when they found the infection which I had to have IV antibiotics for 6 weeks. Should I be worried about this pain in my ear
HI, Welcome to HCM, This could be perichondritis(inflammation of ear cartilage) secondary to radiation..or this may be sign of your trigiminal neurologia...consult your doctor get it examined to find any signs of perichonditis... get well soon.. Happy to Help HCM
