What Does Pea Size Lump Under Jaw Line Of A 5 Year Old Indicate?

hi my sister is 5years old and has a pea size shape lump just below her jaw line, she got took to the doctors and they said come back in 6weeks if it has not gone. She is going back tomorrow, as she still has the lump and it hasn't gotten any smaller. Is there anything serious that this could be?

Hi.This swelling can be a lymph node or a cyst.You do need to follow up with the doctor if the swelling is persistent even after 6 weeks.
