I went to the uw min this week and the doc says i have a perferated bowel and i could die but won' t do surgery for 6 months. so i consider myself dead what you think
If this is really perforation of intestine, then surgery is must without this cure is not possible but condition could be more serious if surgery is not done in time.
If this is not the perforation, then underlying cause of your intestinal symptoms and pain needs to be found out and for that, it may requires some test like MRI, Ultrasonography (Colonoscopy may not be possible here in this case).
You can discuss this with your doctor for any other option if it is not the perforation.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
