What Does Polyp Or A Blood Clot On The Uterus Lining Mean?

Hi, I just recently had an ultrasound because my fiance and I are trying to have a baby. They were checking to see if I had anything wrong because I m 35 and have never been able to conceive a child. The results of the ultrasound showed either a polyp or a blood clot on the uterus lining. They weren t sure and I have to go back for further testing. What could be the cause of that and what should I do or expect?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

You need to visit your gynecologist again.

The gynecologist will do pelvic examination and hysteroscopy like procedure according to need.

If polyp present than by scope it can be removed and send it for histopathology examination..

Hope I have answered your question

Let me know if I can assist you further
