What Does Presence Of Pus Cells In Semen Analysis Mean?
Hi, I am 35 and my semen analysis is Sperm count = 95 million/ml, active 55%, sluggish 20% and non motile 25%, pus cells 10-12/HPF, liquifaction 30 min, viscosity normal = Please let me know if the 10-12 pus cell is an issue and whether it needs to be treated.
Hi, dear. I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern. You have normozoospermia. It meas your semen analysis report is totally normal. But pus cells indicate that you have some genital tract infection. You may have some infection in seminal vesicles or prostatic urethra or any other site in genital tract. Just take s course of antibiotics according to your doctor's advice. Hope I have answered your question, if you have doubt then I will be happy to answer. Thanks for using health care magic. Wish you a very good health.
