Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I often feel like I have an elephant on my chest and that I can t breathe. I exercise every day, ride my horse and have 19.5 body fat mass. I have smoked all my life, but for the 10 years I increased to about 7 or 8 cigarettes a day. I also have pressure in my left sinus and have been told by numerous doctors that it is not an allergy or sinus issue. Where should I go for help?

What Does Pressure In The Chest Indicate?
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice. I would recommend you first a cardiac examination starting with an ECG, a cardiac sonography and lipidogram. After that, you may need to do a stress test. I think it s important to know if these come from the heart, which would be serious. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Regards, Dr. Anila Skenderi
