Good night, since last year I had a chest tight ive never had before, occurred under a high strees situation I was going thru. however i went ot cardiologist and they told me my heart was good i had ekg and ecg nothing abnormal it disappeared but is back again like 3 weeks ago i had a commond cold and since theen ive been with sinus, i have to admit ive been also depressed and again this pressure or tightness i don t know how to describe it cant last hours , i don t have a rapid breathin theres not rapid beats in my heart, my gastro told me could be stresss, my orthopedist told me was chostocondritis, the good thing until today im still alive but i like to know more options. thanks

The thing is that costochondritis will cause pain on a daily basis and anxiety will cause chest pain when you are under stress. In costochondritis, there will be evidence of inflammation in lab tests such as TLC, DLC, ESR, or CRP. As per your symptoms, I am sure it is anxiety.
Take tablet Clonazepam 0.25 mg, half in the morning and 1 at night, whenever you get anxious, try deep breathing, meditation, go to some religious place on daily basis and get involved in some social cause and social service.
All these things are helpful in depression also as above drugs mentioned are prescription drugs. Please contact your local doctor so that he will prescribe these.
